Fish Head Rocks

[bizarre_fishhead.jpg]

Trona, California

A bit of paint was all it took to turn this pile of desert boulders into a group of ravenous moray eels.

Directions: On the northwest side of Trona Road (Highway 178), about 9 miles southwest of Trona. When I took this photo in 1986, the road ran right past the rocks, but the road has since been re-aligned about 100 yards away from the rocks.

Last visited: February 1986.
