As the saying goes, politics makes strange bedfellows ... and neighbors. Evidently the owner of this undeveloped property at the busy intersection of Happy Valley and Pima roads is not happy with local law enforcement. To raise awareness of the issue, the landownder has apparently decided to decorate the property in the most obnox ... um, I mean eyecatching way possible. Passing motorists are treated to a random and inexplicable array of giant, garishly-colored "artworks": candy-cane poles, dodecahedrons, a cowboy, Kokopelli, and an abundance of "No Trespassing" signs. During the holiday season, a Santa is even added to the mix.
