World's Largest Lemon

This ten-foot-long lemon stands in a miniature park, and is accompanied by a few small (real) lemon trees -- all that remain of the town's namesake lemon groves. As if the debatable claim of "World's Largest Lemon" wasn't enough, the inscription on the pedestal reads "BEST CLIMATE ON EARTH." Who are we to argue?

Directions: South side of Broadway between Main Street and Lemon Grove Avenue, on the west side of the trolley tracks.

Last visited: January 2011.
