Pig City

Cincinnati, Ohio

In reference to its history as a major pork-processing center, the great city of Cincinnati is often fondly referred to as Pigcinnati or Porkopolis. So it seems like everywhere you turn in the city, you bump into a statue of a pig! Often the pigs are depicted with wings; I've heard at least three different explanations for this (warning -- possible urban legends ahead!):

"The Rib King"

Directions: At the entrance of Montgomery Inn at the Boathouse restaurant, 925 Eastern Avenue (northeast end of Bicentennial Commons at Sawyer Point).
