Pumpkin Sign

Punkin Center, Arizona

The sign that attracts visitors to the Punkin Center Bar is a giant plastic jack o' lantern, said to be (perhaps) the world's largest pumpkin. It's about 6 feet across and is said to light up at night, but I didn't stick around to see.

Directions: Punkin Center is on Highway 188 at Greenback Road, about 13 miles south of Highway 87.

Last visited: July 2007.
