Tail O' The Pup

What says America better than a hot dog stand in the shape of a giant wiener? I count as one of the great accomplishments of my life to have stood there eating a hot dog, while my fellow citizens drove by, gazing upon me with envy. What a great country!
Directions: At the time of my visit, Tail O' The Pup was located on San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood. But it was closed and the building dismantled in early 2006. Rumor has it that the building's facade is in storage, possibly to be reopened at another location in the future.
Last visited: July 1990.
