Wickenburg Sculptures

Wickenburg, Arizona

Walk the streets of this Old West town and you may bump into some real characters. A half-dozen lifesize -- and lifelike -- bronze sculptures by J. Seward Johnson represent historical personages from Wickenburg's past. You may also be startled to find yourself sharing the sidewalk with some non-human desert critters -- but those are Johnson sculptures too. Shown above is Miner Leading his Donkey; below are photos of the other sculptures (click to enlage).

Directions: Several locations in downtown Wickenburg centered on intersection of Highways 60 and 93. A map and more information on the sculptures can be found on the Town of Wickenburg web site.
