Badwater Reflections

Beyond Badwater stretch the salt flats of Death Valley -- at 282 feet below sea level, the lowest land in the Western Hemisphere. In the background, Telescope Peak towers more than 11,000 feet above the valley floor.
If this photo seems a bit odd, that may be because it has been flipped upside-down! The scene is actually a reflection in a pool of water.
