This 3-dimensional view of the crescent moon in evening twilight was taken looking up through the palm trees in my back yard. Between the two exposures I simply moved the camera tripod about 6 inches to the side.

In creating this photo, I was inspired by the 3-D photography of Steve Sumner (especially this similar moon photo).

Location: Phoenix, Arizona.
Date: June 3, 2003.
Time: 8:01 p.m. MST.
Camera: Olympus OM-1 35mm SLR on fixed tripod.
Film: Kodak Elite Chrome 400 slide.
Focal length: 50 mm.
Aperture: f/11.
Exposure time: 1 second each exposure.
Scanner: Nikon Coolscan LS-10E.
