This photo shows the summer pre-dawn eastern sky over the roof of my house. The moon (just past last quarter, and overexposed in this 35 second exposure) is in the middle of the constellation Taurus; the bright star Aldebaran and the Hyades star cluster are just to the right of the moon. The familiar constellation of Orion is above the house. Part of the constellation Gemini is seen just above chimney; the brightest "star" in Gemini is the planet Saturn.
