Carrizo Badlands

The Carrizo Badlands, a very remote part of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, looking north to the Vallecito Mountains. Except for the star trails, this appears to be a daylight photo. But it was actually taken late at night, a first-quarter moon providing the illumination during the 90-minute exposure.
