Meadow Star Trails

Constellations and planets make trails as they set in the west. To left of center is Gemini (pair of bright stars at top is Pollux and Castor). To the right (above the hill) is Auriga (brightest star Capella). To the left of the tree is Canis Minor (brightest star Procyon). Saturn sets behind the left edge of the hill, while Jupiter barely comes into the frame at extreme upper left. The scene was lit by a first-quarter moon out of the frame to the left.
