The towering sandstone cliffs of the Valley Of Fire loom between the bright star Sirius and the constellation of Orion. The sky glow is from the city of Las Vegas, some 50 miles distant. During the long exposure, I briefly illuminated the foreground cliffs with a red flashlight to accentuate their color.
